Creating Space to Express, Reflect & Reconnect

session outline

Our Sensory Drawing & Reflective Writing Workshop offers colleagues a creative opportunity to step away from the demands of the working day, slow down and reconnect with themselves.

Through sensory exercises, paired drawing, intuitive writing and creative mark-making, participants are encouraged to be present and explore their thoughts and experiences in a different way. No artistic experience is needed — the focus is on expression and reflection rather than creating a perfect piece of art.

The session culminates in the creation of a personal zine — a small handmade booklet combining drawings, words and reflections, providing participants with a personal record of their experience to take away.

Designed to support self-expression, mindfulness, connection and wellbeing, the workshop creates an accessible space for colleagues to pause, reflect and explore creativity together.

your facilitators

The workshop is co-facilitated by Sha Hussain, an award-winning wellbeing consultant, mindset and run coach, and founder of The Wellness Movement, alongside Miki Takekawa, a London-based Japanese illustrator and visual artist.

Miki holds an MA in Illustration from Camberwell College of Arts (UAL) and specialises in drawing, monoprint and sensory exploration. She has facilitated creative workshops at Camberwell College of Arts, Two Temple Place and Hypha HQ, alongside community arts programmes across London.

Together, Sha and Miki combine their experience in wellbeing, reflective practice and creative expression to offer a workshop that encourages colleagues to reconnect with themselves and others.
