introducing the gut health clinic
The Wellness Movement have partnered with The Gut Health Clinic to bring our clients the very best in nutritional advice focused around the gut-brain connection.
The Gut Health Clinic is a team of gut-specialist registered dietitians led by the award winning dietitian Dr Megan Rossi, who works at the forefront of gut health research at King’s College London.
We’re passionate about gut health education, making it easier for individuals to look after their health from the inside out. Our team of dietitians are available to speak at events, providing scientifically supported nutritional information on a wide range of topics including optimising gut health, the gut-brain connection, and other specific clinical conditions, or topics tailored to the audience and demand.
Gut-brain connection session overview
Jo Cunningham, Clinical Director at The Gut Health Clinic will be providing an insight into the gut-brain connection, and how by looking after the inner community of gut microbes it can support mental wellbeing.
What you can expect from the session:
● We begin with a moment of mindfulness, helping us to relax our brain and digestive system.
● An introduction to the science behind the gut-brain connection, and the benefits of looking after this for both the gut and the mind.
● A dive into diet, and how dietary diversity can support mental health.
● A discussion around the different methods of targeting the gut-brain axis to support gut symptoms.
● Q&A at the end of the session.
